Sales Policy
If you contact me about a rabbit, you are agreeing to the following policies:
-
If you would like to reserve a bunny that is not yet ready to leave the rabbitry, I can put it on hold for you if you give me a 50%, non-refundable deposit. If you change your mind about the bunny or back out of a sale, then you will NOT get your deposit back. This is to be sure that you will follow through and actually buy the rabbit, and I feel that it is only fair to me and to others, as I would have to turn away others who were interested in the bunny, and I would be missing out on a sale. If there are extenuating circumstances as to why you can no longer get the rabbit, talk to me about it and I may make an exception, but that is ultimately my decision.
-
I want to be sure that every rabbit that I sell is going to a good home where it will be loved and properly cared for, and so I reserve the right to refuse a sale if I do not feel comfortable with the situation that the bunny would be placed in, or if I don't feel like the buyer would properly take care of the animal. I know this sounds harsh, but the bunnies are my babies and they are living creatures that deserve to be treated right. If I refuse a sale after a deposit has been paid, you will receive your money back.
-
If you have paid a deposit on a rabbit, and something should happen to it while it is still in my care, you will receive your money back. If decide not to sell a particular rabbit for some reason after money has been paid, you will also get a refund for that. If one of these circumstances occurs, I will do my best to get a different bunny that you can buy instead, but you may have to wait a bit for more to be ready if you are wanting something specific.
-
I will do my best to be sure that all rabbits that I sell are healthy, but I cannot guarantee what will happen after you take them from me. If a bunny that I sell catches an illness or gets injured after you have had it, that is not my fault.
-
If you are wanting a specific gender, please feel free to check it yourself before taking it. I am not usually wrong on gender, but it is always possible to make mistakes when checking young babies.
-
I will give you my opinions on what I believe the quality and potential of my rabbits to be, but I cannot guarantee whether they will win on the show table or if they will be good breeders. All I can do is give you my thoughts on the subject.
-
As the buyer, you are responsible for finding transportation for any rabbits you buy if you are not able to pick them up yourself. I will try to help you figure out something if I know of someone going your way, but it is ultimately the buyer's responsibility.
-
If a rabbit is not picked up in a reasonable amount of time, then that rabbit can be put back up for sale. I won't put a specific time limit on it at this point, but if I run into too many problems I may need to in the future. Just keep in touch with me about your plans for pickup and the time frame.
Notification List
If you would like to be notified of future litters, please contact me and tell me exactly what you are looking for, and I will let you know when there are bunnies available or in the nestbox that might be a good fit for you. When there are new litters, I will try to give those who have been on the list for the longest first pick of whatever becomes available. However, if I do not hear back from you after letting you know that something is available, I will go on to the next person in line. There is no obligation to buy if you are on the list, and I can take you off at any time if you are no longer interested. You can also choose to wait for a future litter if I notify you and there isn't something that is perfect for you in that particular litter. Please just let me know that you want to wait, so that I don't assume that you are no longer interested. Let me know if you have any questions about anything, and thanks!
